The main problem with it is that it just doesn't suit her. Every time I watch X Factor the judges are always telling younger acts to be more current and to stop singing tracks that their 50 odd year old mentors have picked for them and then they get a 17 year old winner and pick this for her.

Exactly! A dated ballad like this is never going to catch on as a hit, they can't expect it to. If they released a really good, contemporary pop song as a winning single, it could easily catch on as an actual hit!

Wow Bens winning single from last year is brilliant compared to this!

Having said that I'd like to see Louisa do well with her own original music.

Right. I actually really, really love this now

I like it a lot too! It's a grower. I don't think it deserves to have the "honour" of doing soooo much worse than previous winners singles.

I just pray that this doesn't negatively affect Louisa's prospects. It'll be interesting to hear what her direction will be!

I really like it too, it's not my favourite but I agree it's really not bad enough at all to do so much worse than some of the average/below average winning singles from the past :(
Yeah it doesn't deserve to be doing so badly at all :( I still think she can have a blossoming career with her first proper single though, she needs something current in the same way that Ghost was for Ella I think.
