Posted December 23, 20159 yr (:kink: at the title, just wanted to use the excessive click-bait technique that the media use) Anyway, these are Stephen Fry's thoughts on Love Me Like You: "Horrible. Oh horrible! It's just bubblegum pop. They're not still singing sha-la-la-la are they?" he told BBC Newsbeat. "It's got bits of Phil Spector right at the background through '70s bubblegum pop into a modern version. It's a hideous, toxic compound. It's the musical equivalent of Haribo Starmix." I like Haribo Starmix. :(
December 23, 20159 yr Haribo Starmix are one of my favourite sweets so yeah the song is exactly like Haribo Starmix
December 23, 20159 yr Nope. I'm not too much of a fan, either. I didn't think anyone could find this song THAT offensive  I guess I was wrong :o I find his reasonings for disliking this to be a bit "aaaannndddd?" and weak. I mean, "it's just bubblegum pop"? And your point is???
December 23, 20159 yr Am I only the one who doesn't really like Stephen Fry anyway? Nope - not a fan myself
December 23, 20159 yr I love haribo starmix too! I like Stephen, he's a very clever man and very entertaining on shows like QI, but nobody gives a toss about his opinion on music so his opinion is a relevant as mine to anyone reading that article haha! What is his quote in context too, who the hell asked him about Little Mix? lol TBH I'm impressed that he knows who they are. ;)

December 23, 20159 yr What is his quote in context too, who the hell asked him about Little Mix? lol TBH I'm impressed that he knows who they are. ;) It was on Radio 1 Newsbeat, Stephen Fry obviously wasn't up to much so they asked him his opinion on some of their playlisted songs. He likes Slaves and doesn't mind Justin Bieber.
December 28, 20159 yr I think it's a bit unfair to label Little Mix "bubblegum pop" because they are capable of so much more than that (and have demonstrated that in the past) - however, the singles from this album so far haven't demonstrated that. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but not everyone's a fan of that sound.
