This thread is really depressing right now, people throwing about songs that are doing nothing or low down the chart. Rihanna or someone big drop a song please.

I'm actually finding it quite interesting, what with the likes of seeing Shawn Mendes rise up the chart, and seeing songs like Renegades and All My Friends start to get bigger.

Admittedly it would be nice to see a new threat on the top 5~

Why is Love me like you increasing again? The top version has had a decent boost and now has 3 versions in the top 100.

Because it is going to remain Top 40 until Phil Spector gets out of jail and goes on a shooting spree destroying any stereo playing it.

Are the NHS Choir coming for McFly's record for the fastest falling number 1 ever?

Almost certainly. Not top 100 on iTunes any more and falling rapidly, plus no physicals and little streams. I'd be shocked if it's even close to the top 40.

I don't think anybody looks to the charts for the freshest new music do they?

What do you mean?

Any chance of Little Mix getting a new peak with 'Love Me Like You' this week based on that?

It's been combined 10/11 most of the week, so maybe it can get to 12? Probably be 13 again though. Should re enter the top 15 for sure, I'd say?

For people who don't spend their lives on a music forum I'm sure the chart/radio/streaming playlists and charts are where they get exposed to 'new' music and if that all moves at snails pace then so will they with their music listening.

99 souls is a perfect example of if it is given exposure and on the chart people will buy/stream it, because it was not even a thing when given free.

Exactly lol

 well played with this one. :')

~lol I'm quite proud of myself with that

Ones to watch

21. Craig David "When the Bassline Drops"

31. Snakehips "All My Friends"

39. X Ambassadors "Renegades"

41. Major Lazer "Light It Up"

45. Little Mix "Secret Love Song"

47. The Weeknd "In the Night"

50. Pia Mia "Touch"

61. Elle King "Ex's and Oh's"

72. Blinkie "Don't Give Up (On Love)"

Yes at Major Lazer climbing all the way back up to #41 from outside the T100! It entered the T40 at #40 the other week, helped a lot by streaming, so hopefully that won't be it's peak.

Major Lazer at no10 now on spotify so it could stay in the top 40 officially this week imo. People must be putting it on their playlists for NYE!
Thankfully Elle King seems to have stalled. Not sure why people are willing it to become a hit? It's dreadful lol.
