Both amazing tracks. Surprisingly, I have never tired of 'I Could Be The One', whereas other songs of the same ilk, I kind of go off quite quickly. Avicii's best moment for me.

'DNA' is such a pop classic. It really does "take my breath away" everytime I hear and listen to it!

In an extremely tight section Taylor Swift bows out in fourth. A definite favourite from the off, this track carried on her huge comeback success following 'We Are Never...' and became her second #2 peaking single in the UK. In third position and in fact occupying 2 spots in the top 3, something I don't believe has ever been achieved before in the history of Now Rates, it's Disclosure which their debut single Latch. It peaked at #11 in the UK but managed to outdo that Stateside well over a year later. This also brought attention to the vocal talents of Sam Smith who would go on to have extraordinary solo career himself. The track received six '11's, the most of any in the rate.

So it all comes down to Pompeii Vs. White Noise! Who will win?

At the end of it all, Disclosure have to settle for runner up as their follow up to aforementioned debut, White Noise comes home in second. It peaked at #2 in the UK and really was a breath of fresh air in the chart at the time, with nothing else sounding like it. That said I prefer their further two singles You & Me and F For You to the two in this rate. White Noise was the only track in the top 10 to receive a '-1' which helped tipped the balance in the favour of...

Congratulations to our winners in Bastille :cheer: Pompeii was their follow up to debut single Flaws and also managed a #2 peak, behind Justin Timberlake's Mirrors. It one of those tracks that very few dislike as shown by its solidly high scores (only 3 of its 35 votes was a rating of below 7) and pulled out a winning lead within the latter part of the rate. The song also achieved huge success in the US, becoming a long-running top 5 hit there. Whilst I personally prefer Flaws I can't deny this is a great track and a worthy winner of the Now 84 rate.

Thanks to the 34 other participants in this rate, look out for the next one where we go waaaaay back when once more!

Disgusting #2 & #3! I really don't understand the popularity that surrounds Disclosure on here and in general.

That was such a great Now album, can't believe the low averages some posters had! Also, for What About Us to get that many 10s and not finish top 10 is extremely surprising!

Pleased with most of the top 10, not a fan of I Knew You Were Trouble and I agree with Jonjo that Everywhere is good but not THAT good, but otherwise great picks! Huge shame that Pitbull and The Lumineers aren't higher. Thanks as always Dobbo!

"Pompeii" I find a bit overrated in general but it was good.

To be honest the more recent NOW! UK albums have been the strongest in a while.

With the exception of Die Young (which is still good), all the tracks in the top 10 are fantastic.

Well I'm flattered to see I'm the second biggest giver of points! *.*

Adore the top 2  I didn't really "latch" onto #3 :basil: but it's still good. Shame my FAVOURITE SONG OF ALL TIME missed the top 5 but it's a song by Buzzjack's favourite girl group that pipped it to the post so I GUESS I'll let it slide this once :P

:o I think this is the first time EVER I gave 11 for the winner.

'White Noise' is by far and away my favourite, but I didn't expect it to finish anywhere near that high so I'm satisfied with 2nd!

'Diamonds' finished disgracefully high, and the two Gabrielle Aplin tracks the wrong way round. :(
