'My Feelings For You' was released as the first single under the name Avicii in the UK, unfortunately it failed to reach the top 40 but it remains a tune. Listening to this and then a recent Avicii song you can really tell that he's grown so much as an artist anyway.

 

'Lay Me Down' was released as the final single from the 'True' album. Despite the Nile Rodgers feature and a little bit of support from Radio 1, it was a big commercial flop, barely making the top 200.

I *think* Lay Me Down is also my least favourite single but it's like choosing between a box of assorted chocolates :P MFFY going out now is also a good outcome so it's going mostly good so far.

 

Seek Bromance now. I'm getting rid of all the classics :heehee: I'm running out of songs which are not 10/10 tbh.

Not too bothered with either of those missing the top 10. Lay Me Down very much a weak point of the True era and whilst I do enjoy MFFY, it's not among his very best.

 

Getting harder now, going to go for the Rapture remix.

Rapture for me. I have seemed to find that I enjoy his commercial hits the most, it's either a case of me hearing them more so they grow on me, or just a case of Avicii and his record label having impeccable single choices :lol:

Well we know the latter isn't the case otherwise they wouldn't have chosen For A Better Day/Pure Grinding as the Waiting For Love follow-up when they had Broken Arrows waiting to smash (this has to be one of the worst single release decisions of the year, I know BA got chosen eventually but the momentum had died by then)
