Tbh if 'When We Were Young' is the next single I'd add it to streaming already! Or they could use "streaming release" to make a boost when it will be more needed.

It's surely bound to go to number one because Adele is performing it on the Brits :w00t:

I didn't like it at fist but after a few listens its amazingness hit me, including the high notes which Adele doesn't usually do.

Stitches up to 4!! Surely the only realistic contender to get to the top 2 either this week or next week with the exception of Zara Larsson when she releases Lush Life.

Seems like 'Lush Life' could be more a slow-burning hit at the moment (but it'll get up there eventually). I think "Stitches" will hit #2 officially at least now, #1 isn't out of the question though

I think there is a good chance that Shawn Mendes will climb to #1 on the combined chart next week as there is zero competition - commercial radio play is only just starting to bite (49-34 on UK airplay currently).

Need something from out of nowhere now, I can't at Stitches being a UK #1 :no:

I don't think it will happen next week, but I can see him maybe claiming iTunes number 1 at some point next week. However, the week after I think is more likely for number 1 on the combined chart. I can see it going like 5/6(this week)-3/2-1.

 

If he came to the uk and did the smallest bit of promo, it'd zoom to number 1 no problem.
