For comparison, Joanne opened with 201,000 equivalent sales, Glory opened with 111,000 equivalent sales and Dangerous Woman opened with 175,000 equivalent sales.

 

I'm still not a massive lover of Swish Swish but I'm really hoping we get a video for it soon and it really turns the era around. The last thing she needs right now is for Save As Draft to be a single (of any sort, really :lol:)...

She was more popular then, but there's also been a huge drop in overall album sales since then you have to remember. These are really good numbers for her considering the singles didn't do well.

Yeah I'm really happy with her 1st week sales. Especially for the time of year. Those other albums (bar Britney) were Q4, iirc? End of Spring/Beginning of Summer are bad for sales in general, aren't they? :unsure:

 

But she really needs to kinda move on quick and do what Rihanna did as she progressed from 'Rated R' - 'Loud' really quick!

N.1 in Spain, her first N.1 there with no tour dates :D

Witness officially more of a flop than MDNA which received a, still ghastly, 86.7% drop.

Tsunami is my new favourite, never thought she'd ever give me a track like that :wub: Whatever the sales, she's proved the obsessive haters wrong with this record and I love it <3
