A shame it didn't hold on to Top 10 after all... streaming definitely went against her there. Still, a short while ago, there's no way I'd have expected her to still be within the Top 15 at this point.

Glad to see she is still top 10 sales wise, even though streaming gave her a blow as suspected, holding at nbr 13 for a second week is not bad at all though...

Well Kiss Me Once was all the way down to #57 (!) at this stage, and X with Aphrodite were also below #20 (yes, with higher sales, but the sales climate was also very different), so I can't complain really!

 

I feel it will leave the top-20 next week though.

I noticed this on YouTube: a fanmade video for Shelby '68, compiled largely from clips of 'Some Kind of Bliss'. I think it works really well!

It’s regained some ground on iTunes (Currently #39) but I think this will go into freefall now until promo kicks off again.

 

They need to do another run of cassettes - they are selling for silly prices on eBay and demand is there from Kylie tweeting about them still.

She should do a price promo week for her birthday and get Golden Gold for her birthday lol

I think as long as it sells okayish at this price they won’t discount it. I’d make a price reduction in autumn alongside nice promo for her fourth single.

 

Either way it should outsell ‘Kiss Me Once’ next week already! Will also definitely cross 100k. The next landmark is Kylie Christmas! So far I’m unsure whether it’ll be able to outsell it.

Nothing is guaranteed but with how it has performed to date i would be surprised if Golden fails to outsell Christmas.

Golden is on 83,926 after six weeks on sale.

 

I wonder how much Kylie Christmas is on now? Last update was 131,000 in early January 2017. I'd assume it'd be on under 140,000, because it only managed 1 week re-entry in the Top 200 at #197 over Christmas 2017, which was probably only 1,300ish sales achieved in that particular week.

Happy enough with this staying Top 30 on its 7th week with no promo or hit single to be propping it up! KMO was at #73 at the same stage!

That seems too high to me. It sold 131k to the end of its 2016 chart run so that's 24k since, with most of those sales obviously coming from December. Baring in mind it only spent 1 week in the chart in 2017 (#197), 24k seems far too ambitious.

The tumble this week is slightly disappointing. With some luck it will recover a couple of places as the week progresses.

10 new entires ahead of it though (assuming some of them are bound to fall, as rule of thumb).

YA she should overtake 2-3 of them and possibly sneak another week top20.
