I know they would be good in terms of getting her songs more attention but a Pitbull/Jason derulo collab with Leona really doesn't enthuse me at all.

 

Alesso sessions sound good though. Leona's voice blends well with dance music.

 

Leona achieving some success enthuses me and although I ain't keen on Pitbull, he would bring her the attention she needs.

 

As long as she delivers amazing material on her own albums, then she can collab with who she needs to in order to rise up again.

Yeah you're right to be fair, pitbull and derulo doesnt excite me but Alesso really does. I'm really excited to hear that!

 

To be honest any exposure at the moment is crucial, and if an artists is supported by radio at the moment, and leona jumps on a track with them, i'm happy. We need radio to take notice again!

I heard the song...in my dream last night. It's a duet with a female artiste and a mid-tempo ballad. Leona harmonized with both a soprano and alto, and as any bunny will tell you, she also stole the show. In my dream, a video was being shot for the song. I only saw Leona - night setting, with the music being played back loud. I tried and failed to identify the other female singer, but saw a Bugatti feature on the set. Cool, huh?

Oh, yeah, the song was absolutely fantastic.

Dec 2016 - Free track from upcoming album to get people to take notice of new material

Feb/Mar 2017 - First single from new album

 

I really hope Album #6 won't be released at the end of the year like all of the others were. Leona needs to exploit the fact that the beginning of the year is really quiet for releases. If I Am was released in July, I'm sure it would've been another top 10 album for her.

I do think the I Am era still has some untapped potential. 'Fire Under My Feet' nearly cracked the top 100 of US iTunes while 'Thick Skin' is now being used in the Queen of Katwe trailer.

I think it's a one off thing. Leona's boyfriend is one of the dancers on the show (Dennis). Would be great if the song did something after the performance on the show though. :)
