Posted September 26, 200619 yr Scissor Sisters continue chart domination Source: Music Week Scissor Sisters look certain to retain pole position in the singles and albums charts this weekend, after early retail reports indicate they have been comfortably outselling all competition since Sunday. Despite a 20% week-on-week dip in fortunes, their single I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ is easily ahead of The Killers’ When You Were Young and Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack. Also due to make a big impact are Lil’ Chris (RCA), Evanescence (Wind-Up), Paolo Nutini (Atlantic), Pussycat Dolls (A&M) and Lily Allen (Regal), all of which look set to rise into the Top Ten after their physical release yesterday. Making a huge increase is the Cast Of High School Musical, whose Breaking Free (Walt Disney) has increased its fortunes by over 500% since last week. Additionally, the High School Musical soundtrack album is poised to rise to number one in the compilation chart on Sunday. New entries are likely to come from James Dean Bradfield, Bob Sinclar & Cutee B (Defected), P Diddy (Atlantic), Dirty Pretty Things (Vertigo), The Pipettes (Memphis Industries) and Bedouin Soundclash’s When The Night Feels My Song, which replaces the year-old version of the song in the chart after its inclusion in the T-Mobile TV ad prompted its reissue. Below Scissor Sisters in the album chart, The Fratellis are holding at two, with Razorlight’s self-titled effort rising to three on the back of the weekend’s Parkinson appearance. Likely new entries lower down the rundown come from Jamelia (Parlophone), Lupe Fiasco (Atlantic), Larrikin Love (Infectious) and Sparklehorse (Capitol). ===================================================================== Singles 01 Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin 02 The Killers - When You Were Young 03 Justin Timberlake - Sexyback Top 5 Lil Chris - Checkin It Out **Climber** Evanscence - Call Me When You're Sober **Climber** Top 10 Paolo Nutini - Jenny Don't Be Hasty **Climber** Pussycat Dolls - I Don't Need A Man **Climber** Lily Allen - LDN **Climber** Top 15 High School Society - Breaking Free **Climber** Top 20 James Dean Bradfield - An English Gentleman **New Entry** Top 40 Bob Sinclair feat. September 26, 200619 yr Ooh Paolo, Evanescence and Lily all top 10!!! September 26, 200619 yr What a lot of new entries! I'm going to do bad on Tip's prediction game this week. O well. Glad that Pipettes maybe going Top40.

Pushing the boundaries a little to refer to a single that's already #33 in the chart as a 'New' entry.
September 26, 200619 yr Great to see the Scissor Sisters still going great guns. :cheer:  at McFadden flopping.
September 26, 200619 yr US5 will most likely sell as the week goes on and go Top40. Some of the others like McFadden I'm not so sure.
September 26, 200619 yr Author I'm surprised at Chris Lake flopping, unless there is more to meets the eye with the music week report, as certain acts have been omitted.
September 26, 200619 yr Wow! 4 weeks for the Scissor Sisters! I expect the album will fall next week though, as the Killers are out :D
