tbf sammy is correct.

I don't care. I like the song, but in terms of the matter at hand itself (Fleur's iTunes position) I don't even care that greatly before he wades in and says I'm a "deluded fan" or something. I'm speaking from an impartial viewpoint when I say his constant baiting and the way he addresses people is foul, and it's majorly uncomfortable to read it.

Why do you have to be so obnoxious all the time?

I'm just straight talking. A lot of posters on here are swayed by their investment in certain artists.

This is the post above mine "That top 2 is f'n dreadful. Love Yourself sounds like an Uncle Kracker song and Stitches sounds like it belongs in 1998."

Yet you take issue with me questioning if Fleur is actually doing ok?

Such as yourself and Fleur! You only even post here when she's charting. You're obsessed! Don't worry I'm sure she'll tour soon, you can meet her then!

I'm sure there will be plenty of tickets going cheap.

Yes I do, the difference between that post is he's just stating an opinion but you're badgering and mocking someone with a succession of posts. It's not only that, but you did the exact same thing recently as well.

I'm willing it to do well, but I'm under no illusion that her album has hardly set the world on fire and the odds are stacked against this release. I think its ascent into the top 100 can hopefully help it be steady and give it a better chance as radio begin to playlist it, rather than it having to start from 1,000 or something and struggle to chart at all.

I made one post questioning if it was actually doing as well as being made out, I wasn't rude, didn't use rude language, it was a fairly harmless post. You have just taken it personally because you evidently like Fleur.

There was really no reason to react in the way you did if you had just replied rationally.

Pull the other one, you know exactly how low itunes sales are now, a 1 minute video of Adele singing All I ask gets it to #3, that hot Jack guy performs on Graham Norton it goes top 20 etc.

Anyone who thought that a song sung on a huge awards show wouldn't go top 100 on itunes either has low expectations or is saying that as to make it look better than it is doing.

We all had low expectations, due to not many of us wanting this as a single. It's a song which got the fanbase divided as many others wanted a different song (she did a poll and asked fans to vote, the other song WON that poll but she decides for this one instead) so it's understandable to see why we, as fans, would think it wouldn't go top 100 on the back of ONE performance. She literally has zilch airplay on this song and it was announced just yesterday that this was going to be the single.

She's a pop artist. She sells by the song. She isn't someone who sells by name atm and it's a song that people need to hear more before they decide whether they want to buy it or not. I'd say it's been a positive reaction to the single and I think it gives hope for when airplay does begin to kick in for it. Casting all other doubts out of the window for us.

She's exceeding my expectations anyway. For anyone else, I don't know. But I'm proud that she managed to make me a believer that this song could actually work as a single and early signs of it's iTunes performance of a song that she hasn't performed or premiered anywhere yet is promising.

I think Fleur's alright, I've heard 3 songs from the album and like them and she seems a sweet girl. I just wanted to make a point that I'm not "invested" and not speaking from the "deluded fan" perspective I saw you use against someone the other day.

Fair enough, if you had a problem with that post (I don't recall it?) then you should have responded to that post at the time. Instead you over reacted and the following mess assumed over something that didn't need to be.

To be fair, despite sammy01's obvious pro-Little Mix anti-Fleur agenda, I think it's probably worth considering that 'More & More' might not be doing incredibly well. I mean being top 100 at this point is fine but it's obvious this boost will be very short-lived, and it's kind of back to square one from then on. I wouldn't be entirely shocked if this was the song's peak.

Agreed. I'm expecting it to fall away pretty fast after the performance boost is over, but with Capital backing it and adding it to their playlist tomorrow (dunno if their playlist kicks in straight away though?), I'm more hopeful of it's chances to become a hit. Depending on how much support they're willing to give it exactly. This iTunes boost just gave me confidence that if it reaches the right audience, then it'll actually be a hit. Which I was doubting when it was announced to be a single yesterday.

Fleur is up to 80 now and I'm pretty sure she'll go top-70 before fading back down. For the *first* promo performance it's decent. These early performances are made for people to get to know the song, and the forthcoming airplay will make a connection with that bringing more sales than it could have brought without early promo stunts.

To clear up, I'm saying this as not a fan of Fleur, and I didn't even hear this song.

Jonas Blue #13!!! Alessia #20 now
It's already been on the R1 playlist I believe, though I didn't really feel it was 'pushed' properly. Remember hearing it a good 8/9 months ago (IIRC) and thinking it was one of the best tracks he'd done to date, and then they went and released the Robin Thicke collaboration instead. Happy for this to crossover soon and become a UK hit too.

Releasing the Robin Thicke collab was the right decision at the time, seeing as it did very well in the charts and sounded perfect for a summer release.

The reason that 'My House' is so high on American iTunes is because its being used in a soundtrack to a film there! As you said, R1 playlisted it and 1Xtra A-Listed the record. Was also played a lot on Kiss and saw the video a lot down the gym. You're right though saying it didn't seem fully "pushed".

Looks like things are finally picking up with a bunch of "new" music entering the chart, the Jonas Blue song likely a #1 contender in the future. I think this year is going to be a good one for the charts with the likes of Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Kanye West, Meghan Trainor, OneRepublic and many other well known/big acts set to be releasing music this year. :D
Fleur to me seems like a fool, like she thinks she's mint. Gotta say though More & More being #80 on iTunes has already exceeded my expectations. I like her music, her not so much.

In the past 24 hours...
