I like Shawn but it would annoying if Justin lost out on another week because of this stupid Radio 1 C-List mess. It should be on A-list and receiving multiple plays a day now

Yeah, god knows I love Justin but Stitches just needs at least a week at #1, I would've been more than happy with a #2 peak a few months ago but now it's so close to #1, I desperately want it to make it :lol:

last week bieber's 14.3k streaming advantage dwarfed mendes' modest 1.2k download lead ~ in the current low sales environment 'stitches' will need a massive boost on iTunes to get anywhere near 'love yourself'~

Yeah the mids won't be much help throughout the week unless Shawn's lead goes up hugely, because the missing streaming will make things harder to call! Justin could just about be ahead on Monday, in fact I'm expecting that. Shawn will be ahead in tomorrow's sales-only mids for sure, then Justin will be #1 on Monday and I think Shawn will nab it back for Friday's official #1.

It's stabilised due to the weekend effect kicking in today :P I imagine come Sunday it'll begin to sneak up a bit further.

Because downloads are practically dead in terms of how much they are going to influence the chart from now on. If Shawn gets close on Spotify then we can talk.

That's a bit drastic to say - iTunes still has a big impact on the chart :unsure: sure, sales are going down but they're not dead yet. Shawn will be about 1k in chart sales behind due to streaming but then he's probably about 1k ahead on iTunes so it will level out. There were just 500 copies between Justin and Shawn's Wednesday sales, and Shawn's streaming has since increased slightly. His sales/streaming will most likely increase as the week goes on too (as I've explained already). It's far from over.

Yeah. It's going to be close, but Shawn could easily take the #1 by the end of the week, Justin was only just selling him with streams combined on Wednesday and Shawn has increased on Spotify and iTunes since then. It's quite open for the taking. Shawn's AirPlay will improve a lot over this week, too.
