I'm hoping it won't just be a shortlived boost and thus not chart in the top 100 by the end of the week. Ideally it'll start picking up airplay and gain a bit of momentum.

I wonder where people are hearing some of these songs that are flying up but haven't been played anywhere. Presumably the lower sales get the more impact the internet or events such as tours/performances will have on sending songs flying up iTunes. Must be loads of people hearing the songs on Youtube or wherever and then downloading them.

I'm loving seeing all these new songs shooting up iTunes right now! I really hope the official chart can have a bit of a clearout soon.

 

Oh and I've decided I wouldn't be against both Fast Car versions dominating for a bit, both are v lovely (I prefer Tobtok though).

I noticed 7 Years was put onto the itunes front page last night, so quite a few casual listeners must just be discovering it now!

Um, sorry if this has been asked/answered, but why is there two Fast Car versions out at the same time? Complete coincidence or is one older? I really like the Jonas Blue version (just as great as the wonderful tropic house cover of Show Me Love ^_^), would make for a great number 1 following YAWN Mendes.

 

First time I've looked at iTunes in a while and I am RELIEVED how many fresh songs there are at last, though annoying that it'll take the official chart a few weeks to catch up.

If the Riton song had been released in early 2014 it would have been a guaranteed top 10. If released early 2015 - top 20. Now I'm not too sure.

 

It should go top 40 easily enough though. Proven very popular in the clubs and on Shazam! All depends on radio/Spotify but signs are promising so far.

The Tobtok version pre-dates the Jonas Blue one by about a month, so I think it's coincidental. (not like the Flo Rida/Avicii situation where one was obviously ripping off the other -_-)

Top 10 effect coupled with it gaining well previous to being top 10. Should get to #2 on iTunes quite easily. Maybe take the top spot from shawn as well?

 

I think the streaming deficit for Jonas Blue right now won't see it get to #1 this week over Shawn (will make it on iTunes at this rate though). Can see it at #1 the week after though!
