After hearing 'one strike' and 'one woman man' I thought I would hesitantly give the album a listen.

Tracks 1-8 are genuinely surprisingly brilliant.. Seriously fantastic album.. Goes downhill from 'ratchet behaviour' though

If it goes top-5 it will be good but now I'm hoping for a top-3 debut! If they're extremely lucky they could even go to #2 (outrun the two new entries above them but being pushed down by Adele). But that's wishful thinking, realistically the most possible outcome is like #4.

Still sitting at #3, but Adele sold over twice as much as them yesterday and is less than 200 sales behind, so she'll inevitably be higher tomorrow.

Aled Jones had a strong day yesterday...

Depending on how Aled holds up, perhaps All Saints will be unlucky and end up at #6. Which would still be brilliant! I just hope they can sneak Top 5. It doesn't seem like they'll be able to catch up with the Lumineers, and Deftones may be a bit too strong too. Lukas Graham is on course to overtake as well.

'One Woman Man' is just INCREDIBLE  'Puppet On A String' is also an early favourite.

Agreed to both *.*

Anything was better than #40 to be honest so I'm happy!

And yes to the 'Puppet on a String' love. 'Make U Love Me' is fast becoming a favourite with repeated listens too!

'Ratchet Behaviour' is the only track I've been skipping - though it could take me a few listens to appreciate I suppose... A strong album, nevertheless.

I've belatedly picked up the deluxe version of 'Studio 1' this week, as Amazon seem to have a fair bit of leftover stock, presumably thanks to Parlophone's over-estimations (as Jay said as to why it's certified Gold) so hopefully that'll arrive in the post tomorrow.

A decent album on first listen! 'Make U Love Me' is my early album track favourite. Still all about 'One Strike' though.

I've never really listened to much from the girls before but I will be going through their discography at some point as I've been told I should like their early material :P

 Amazon have about 80k of units to sell of 'Studio 1'.

Pleased that 'Red Flag' has remained stable this week - Let's hope it dosent plummet hard next week.

Can't stop listening. So pleased that they came up with such a strong comeback album. (Tbh I'd still be pleased even if the album was only half as good as it is).

Couldn't resist for £3.94 and free delivery, even if that's a little bit more than what I would've liked to have paid for it, but I suppose it fills a hole in the collection.

The only other way they're likely to get them shifted is by sending a free copy with every purchase of 'Red Flag'

One Woman Man is probably my favourite song of the year so far.

In fact this could be my favourite album of the year too, I know it's only April, but still.

Literally can't stop listening to Who Hurt Who and Tribal. Those two and OWM are my holy trinity on the album.

Also think Puppet on a String could make for a good single choice. I'm not that keen on Summer Rain though for some reason, not that I think it's bad, just a bit none eventful.

Ah yes. Between that, Jamelia's 'Walk with Me' and Robbie Williams' 'Rudebox' it wasn't exactly paydirt for EMI that Christmas was it? (All three are excellent albums, mind.)

I think what probably didn't help last time round was that Take That had just launched their comeback material and everything was unfavourably compared against their success. As Mel has rightly been pointing out in interviews of late, they were offered a deal before any material was recorded or released, hence why all were surprised the album did so badly releasing it after one top 3 hit, when really the sensible thing should have been to release a couple of singles first and then the album.

Also - and I'll go into this a bit more on my Girl Group Reviews thread because I'm literally only a few entries away from writing about 'Rock Steady' - there'd not been sufficient breathing distance from their initial split. This was a period in time where Nat and Nic still received a regular kicking from the press (Nat more so having done 'I'm a Celeb' two years prior to that).

Officially made #3 this week.

So amazing this comeback has done well enough and they have another top 3 album. It is so great and they really deserve to have done well.

That's brilliant, such a wonderful album so it's very much deserved
