21/62 - Persephonia

 

 

Hello, Persephonia delivering some rather last minute votage again, apologies for that ~

 

Commiserations go to D'yermak'er (ooops, first time in a while for that I think but :heehee:), Ultraviolenceland (their 2nd best entry to date), Altyr Muunilinst (actually thought I might vote for them again but ALAS still not quite) and Singerpurear.

 

In these votes I essentially mostly reward the songs that stood out, because there were a good number of songs this month that did so in a very good way. And that's Séyetana above all else. Quite a masterstroke of an entry there. Other two medal positions going to two rather different but almost equally brilliant ~Iberian~ tracks, including what I think I'd now call my favourite entry to date from Desbuanda. And Oslol have got me again grabbing 12 points this time with 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence', reminding me a little of Mike Oldfield ~ and a very lovely tribute to David Bowie.

 

Also a full FOUR countries getting first time points from us - What and Zaminton getting a few points with their first finalists, plus St. Burbia getting there on second attempt and Dobago on their fourth. Yay.

 

And of course we have declared war on the English language and put 3 foreign language tracks and an instrumental as our top 4. Unintentional, but appropriate. Sorry Daehun

Omg at Desbuanda being as high as #6! A fantastic entry from them (my fave of theirs to date as I mentioned in the commentay ~) but I still think it sounds like a DNQ. ;o
