Til It Happens To You is stunning :heart: It has to win the Oscar, especially over that other thing that is the favourite.

I feel like remix albums are such cash cows I dont really give them much time of day. a good remix is rare once you're used to an original. there are some really good mixes out there but none are on that album

That gif sends me straight back to The Monster Ball <3 I wasn't sure where to look during the performance :mellow: I have never really loved 'Boys Boys Boys' but it's quite fun~ A bit too high on here imo, did not expect to see it top 30 as I always thought everyone saw it as filler :o

yeah that surprised me too! :o I guess it doesn't really evoke any strong feelings of hate :kink: I personally would've definitely placed Paper Gangsta and Speechless above it though!

Till It Happens To You is legendary already to me in Gaga's discography, it's brought her so much empowerment from a traumatic moment and is probably my favourite thing she's done in a loooong time, glad it made the top 30

I love "Lovegame", find it one of the best from the album, and was so glad that it got released, all the singles from that era were spot. As for the Remix albums, I never bothered to buy or listen to them, as I find them rather pointless releases.

'Till It Happens To You' is not better than most of those below it, despite the subject matter. It is full emotion but melodically and artistically it's a bit bare.

I don't understand why "LoveGame" isn't extremely loved by you guys. I mean, not to discredit "Boys, Boys, Boys", but LG is DEFINITELY better IMO.

She's had a fair few Fashion songs, but officially your favourite one is the unreleased(?) one originally intended for Heidi Montag but later given to Gaga (leading to a bit of a spat from the Montags oops!). The song, produced by Redone has featured on a few TV shows but didn't make a studio album from Gaga and grew in popularity from its exposure on the small screen. It's a fabulous song, with a brilliant chorus and wild lyrics. A shoutout must be given to David Bowie here too - Gaga performed Bowie's song of the same name at the Grammys only a few days ago, and the similarities between the two are definitely worth noting. Both fearless anthems showcasing the power of fashion <3

 

We also lose Americano (how is this still in here / how did it beat 'Lovegame'!?). The mariachi, house, techno, Latin song of same-sex marriage is one of the most unique on the album and of Gaga's career as a whole and I would've thought it was too divisive to get this high but you're proven me wrong. It is a fabulous song full of such raging energy and immediacy and was put together by a star-studded line-up of producers so it's no wonder it is well appreciated by many. It used to be one of the few songs I skipped on the album but now i really enjoy it again so don't come at me (the "i will fight for..." etc bit is so powerful!!) ~

Nothing against these songs but surprised they made it so high! :o Especially compared to some of the other dropouts we have had :(

I've never been crazy about 'Americano', it's just not quite my thing and find it a bit annoying.

I enjoy both of these, but I agree with Lotti, how on earth are they this high?

I am personally most shocked about Lovegame dropping so low :unsure: Fair enough it's not her strongest single, but I feel if people compared it to her other singles when rating that might have resulted in much lower scores for it. It's surely better than some of the album tracks/filler that have come above it :(

 

But anyway MORE SHOCKS TO COME STILL!
