I've not seen a major popstar's iTunes reaction be this bad in America before.

It's dreadful in the UK too. All red updates and fallen about 5 places since last night. :/

Just seen the video and could quite possibly be her worst. Even 'Pretty Girls' was better because at least that had a quality that made you want to watch it again (albeit to laugh at how dreadful it was). You don't even get that with 'Make Me...'. I wasn't even put off by the whole "auditioning guys" concept that was given to us even though it was clear it would be several steps down from what was originally teased, but the result was something really naff and so far removed from the sexual nature of the song. Even the 'making out' scene at the end left me feeling cold and embarrassed.

The only redeeming feature of the whole video is G-Eazy's part who, as Atonement said, is by far more attractive than those gormless 'lad' models.

I also agree with Jay in the fact I never want to watch this video again because it seriously did effect how I heard the song.

I can't stop watching the leaked version. It's so energetic and sexy.
The original looks SO much better. I'd still prefer something that was darker in colour though; in fact a 'Kiss It Better' part 2 with a little more going on would suit the song perfectly for me.

Her management really are THE WORST at things. Ffs. Really pissed and I wanna cry. Has a fan started a petition yet?

I seriously dont understand how they though "this is too much". This is BRITNEY f***ING SPEARS. She's made a career on being controversial. This is not the song to be goofy and silly to! Im so angry and sad. :(

I really don't understand the concept of this video. So they reshot a new one because the original was too raunchy, so decided to shoot a video where Britney shows bits of her goofy personality but takes one of her dancers home to shag anyway? Logic...
Can Perez FINALLY be of some use and leak the video he got, please???

Video killed the radio star.

If her management team were the ones who stopped this then they are prooving what a mess they are again. She's never had much luck with her team - they have screwed her over more than once. There will always be monumentous screw ups - was just thinking about the original doll mystery and some other ways they've screwed her in the past - why am I even surprised.

Anyways. I'm done streaming or requesting or gifting or anything TBH. I hope the single dies until she gives it a reason not to, aka a stunning performance. They have literally killed the song for me.

I'm so tired of being let down every era since f***ing 'Circus'. I'll still buy the album and enjoy the music, but, I'm not gonna spend my free time supporting another f***ing disaster that only continues to tarnish the reputation 1999- 2008 Britney bust her ass to make. #makemeflop

They need to release a statement and give us a good reason why this masterpiece of a video was dropped in favour of this dull video. Maybe then we'll understand. Team Britney's silence on this matter is making things worse.

It's really deflating though. I've never seen a new video in America only manage one light green update on kworb in 24 hours.

In fact I think the only reason the song is reasonably high on iTunes still is because of the banner.

I kind of want the song to flop now. They don't deserve to make money off of this. Promo is great but it's not as important as the visuals.

If they cut out the cheesy intro and made it so that we couldn't hear the cackling over the track, it'd still be bad but I'd be able to re watch it.

I genuinely do not understand why they'd volume down and have people talking over THE CHORUS.

My impact on the Daily Star article about furious fans: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailysta...deo-re-shot/amp

I'm still hoping this is all part of something much bigger. I'm not convinced they would scrap a video that cost 2 million to make because its too raunchy/the record company didn't like. Andy why are all the BTS shots of the original video still on Brit's Instagram?
