amazing song, love it so much!!! Saw him last year at a festival in Aarhus, Denmark, and was amazed at the audience reaction: 100% of the people knew the lyrics... actually seeing him again this June!!!

Such a beautiful cover, one of my absolute favourite songs of the last decade!

Well there were a Swedish group who thought "let's make the Baywatch theme a hit". And they succeeded!

First hit, 2 more followed and then the group finished with their career.

 

BTW how interesting #40 and #39 both Swedish acts.

'Heartbeats' passed me by when it was first released, but having listened a few times now it's quite lovely!

First of the two songs this US superstar has in the top 40 in the countdown and this one was one of his biggest hits, although it didn't reach the number 1 in the UK. Collaborating with a US actor it was from the beginning on GOLD!

Kanye Omari West (/ˈkɑːnjeɪ/; born June 8, 1977) is an American hip hop recording artist, songwriter, record producer, former singer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. He is among the most acclaimed musicians of the 21st century, attracting both praise and criticism for his work and outspoken public persona.

 

Raised in Chicago, West briefly attended art school before becoming known as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records in the early 2000s, producing hit singles for artists such as Jay Z and Alicia Keys. Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper, West released his debut album The College Dropout in 2004 to widespread commercial and critical success, and founded record label GOOD Music.
