Yeh indie artists especially just release it the day they get it premiered - doesn't really matter a lot of the time tho as unless you're a huge artist as songs can take a while to impact as everyone knows these days.

I bought new Jake straight away at midnight, then got an email today saying if I signed up to his mailing list, I'd get a free download of the song :drama: D'oh!

Ah well least you're helping it chart lol.

The 1975 are more popular for sure, they have a core fanbase who will buy their songs instantly. Surprised at how high Catfish are but I guess they've picked up a following. Jake's song had no prior announcement and no social media hype so I think it's doing fine!

Yeh think Jakes quick second album would have lost him a few fans as it didn't go down well.

 

His new track is really good tho, love it when he does the slower tracks.

I'm not sure actually! If they do, I think they'll either release Gold or re-release Take Shelter. I'd hope for the latter personally!
