Also, the new set won't be completed until 2020, instead of the planned summer 2018.

My theory regarding Grant's secret son was it could be Ben.

Belinda is incredible, I agree she needs to be a full time character. Carli Norris always seemed underrated and underused on Hollyoaks so I knew she'd be great in Eastenders <3

So today is basically confirmation that they're going down the euthanasia/suicide route. I think that's a fitting ending really for Peggy's character!

It made me eye roll when I heard it suggested beforehand but, at the end of the episode when she said "cancer isn't going to have the last word, I am" and all the references to how strong Peggy is, it does feel fitting that she would turn it around and make the decision herself.

 

I'm really loving the way this storyline is playing out. It's very understated which was unexpected, but the fact it was surprising makes it all the more emotional somehow. It really got me when she suddenly went "what for?" when Billy and Honey were talking about setting a date; it's just so totally against everything we see Peggy Mitchell to be.
