This is quite good! Sounds like something you'd hear on EMOTION imo

Also, yaaaasss and the Run Away With Me Re-release. Such an amazing song, really needs more success!

Re-releasing 'Run Away With Me'? Maybe that means pushing it again in the US as I know she is performing it on Ellen tomorrow, I can't see them re-releasing it in the UK.

 

That Knocks feature is okay, picks up a bit in the latter part of the song and I trust will probably grow... but I was hoping for something along the lines of their 'All That' remix.

I really hope it can do SOMETHING. It would be so great to see her get some success stateside after even IRLY flopped there.

Both solid on the first listen, should keep me occupied for the rest of the week as I get my teeth into them.

Liking both of those, and really love the M.Rod remix of I Really Like You, turns it into a really nice 'beach pop' sort of production, with an early 00s vibe.

 

Don't care for any of the other remixes so only taking three tracks away from this remix album.

First Time sounds ok but I'm starting to get RAWM teas from Fever :dance:

Never really understand why the UK/Buzzjack cream themselves over CRJ when she's irrelevant in the rest of the world. Also the album flopped harder than Alexandra Burkes last effort so why would the label think there's a demand for a half arsed remix version?! :mellow:

The Remix album is a Japanese exclusive - she's done quite well there, Emotion was recently certified Gold.

 

Your post bases everything on commercial performance and relevancy, but that really isn't the be all and end all! A lot of us like her because we consider her to be a fabulous pop artist who made a stunningly great album. She doesn't have to go Top 10 to have a dedicated & appreciative fanbase! It is a shame she isn't more successful but that doesn't detract from her worth as an artist, or the quality of her music, imo.
