There's no midweeks been published today at musicweek.com. I'm guessing that the person who normally publishes the chart on the website is at The Brits and so there's probably no-one available at the office to actually post the charts.

I'm also assuming there'll be no midweeks tomorrow (I don't think any midweeks have been posted on Buzzjack on a Thursday for the best part of a month) so it looks like we'll have to wait until the new charts are unveiled on Friday before we get to find out who is where.

Hope we get an update tomorrow following the BRITs effect

Some of the songs have shot up on iTunes, so they might have enough impact to make a story.

Whether we get mids tomorrow is up in the air, they're incredibly inconsistent so don't base it on past trends! :P Besides, we had an update on a Thursday 2 weeks ago :kink:

I must have missed that one! The last I could find on a Thursday was on 28 January so I've definitely overlooked the one from a fortnight ago...

Coldplay should definitely make Top 10 now as have the second singles on all previous Studio Albums.
Mintroyale has tweeted that Adele has now passed Jack Garrett to go to #1 in the UK midweeks.

Surprise! Surprise! She'll more likely hold on next week too following the Mother's Day effect

Just had quick look, no little white fluffy dickie birds today :snif:
Cue the Adele effect.

Can't see that affecting many artists.

Unlikely as the new 1975 album is out

And already has 20K preorders. Although Adele could still be a threat for the #1 album anyway.

Rihanna's "Anti" is number 7 on iTunes albums (downloads) but highest version on Amazon cd chart is #46, going to make no impression on official Top 10 any time soon unless that improves dramatically.

Really pleased to see Lorde's Album doing better on Amazon best sellers.

Do we have statistics on the iTunes/Amazon/any others digital market share?

Also, Amazon doesn't include physicals sold from Amazon in its chart does it?

They said Amazon CD chart which suggests the Rihanna album isn't selling well physically wise

Anti is just far too expensive right now, I got it last week eventually when I had £12 to spare. Her physical is basically overpriced and given it doesn't have a title, her name or tracklisting on it it isn't going to pick up any casual sales in supermarkets.

Streaming sales and downloads sales she is doing amazingly well with which is basically keeping it steady chart wise.

You make a good point here, £10.99 for standard edition of Anti is more than almost all recent standard editions from major artists, wonder why they priced it at this level ( There is more demand for Deluxe edition at £12.99 which is another odd point that it is outselling the standard edition although I guess a lot of people downloaded that for free)
