A fantastic achievement quite literally against the odds! Congratulations to Leicester, throughly deserved.

Interesting to note that with Kasper Schmeichel now being part of a team that has won the Premiership title we now have the second ever father-son winners of the league (following on from Ian Wright and Shaun Wright-Phillips).

Since Liverpool last won the title (1990.. don't worry - you won't remember it!) Peter Schmeichel has become a professional goalkeeper, been part of a team that won the league 5 times, had a son, and that son has gone on to become a professional goalkeeper and won a title. Pretty impressive.

Keep seeing this all over social media.. not strictly true though  Kasper was alrady born the last time Liverpool won the league!

Our draw with Leicester doesn't look as bad now that Man City lost to Southampton, if we win our game in hand then we'll be 1 point behind them. Danny Drinkwater is going to have to do a John Terry after his red card today.

Look who your game in hand is against though :D

More interestingly enough, Spurs are likely to have a few more players banned for violent conduct after both Fellaini and Huth were charged. I can imagine the fume right now from Sunderland!

Even without all that, losing the title I think Spurs will now lose their next two games.

Relegation wise, I think Newcastle will get 6 points from 6. Sunderland will get 1 or 3 from 9 and Norwich will likely get 0 from 9.

The "Battle of the Bridge" last night as Tottenham broke the record for the most yellow cards in a Premier League match by a single team although Chelsea were no saints either.

It was a shameful match in the Premier League. Again Tottenham very ill-disciplined

They lost their heads  Would hardly say they bottled the league, but doubt they will get as easy a ride as this to be challenging for a long time. Can't see everyone else being as bad next season.

Norwich? they may have beaten us last time but revenge will be ours on Saturday and we'll send 'em back down to where they belong.

As for next season I think Tottenham will have a very strong chance of winning the league.

I genuinely don't see Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool nor United as title challengers next season which leaves Spurs, City & Leicester again! Of course this leaves a gap for another shock which I wouldn't be against...!

I think all 4 will challenge, a lot depends on summer recruitment. I'd be shocked in Leicester finish anywhere near the top! Far too much to contend with. For starters they will need 6-7 new players this summer, while retaining their more prized assets. Can't see it myself.

Also, not entirely convinced about Spurs yet myself to challenge for the league next season. We'll see. Their one bonus I suppose is that they'll keep hold of all their spine, which I'm not sure Leicester will be able to.

Tottenham will be able to buy new star quality players as well now that they've qualified for the Champions League.

They will, I mean I'll be interested to see who he goes for in the summer. Could do with up an upgrade on Lamela/Chadli for sure. I expect they'll go a lot more for the unkmown though, rather than the proven quality..

I am not so sure Leicester will lose lots of players. Why would you leave a team playing Champions League football?

Yes, players think about their careers, not just a one season wonder. And also, money comes in to affect too.

Depends really on how much the other clubs will bid for Leicester City's players. Money always plays a part in some way at the end of the day.

Kasper Schmeichel, Jamie Vardy, Danny Drinkwater, Robert Huth & Wes Morgan wouldn't leave Leicester I think.
Aston Villa's relegation means that their games against Nottingham Forest next season will be the first time that two former European Cup winners will meet in their country's second tier.
Spurs losing key players for their final two games does of course raise the possibility that, miraculously, they'll finish behind Arsenal for the 20th year in a row.
Newcastle need to win at Aston Villa because Sunderland are winning against Chelsea. If Sunderland win against Everton as well in midweek then Newcastle & Norwich could get relegated at the same time.
