Surprised nobody posted this! Carly has revealed on Instagram that her next single is Boy Problems, with a video coming soon. I guess it doesn't matter as singles will do nothing at this stage, it's just a video, but Boy Problems is one of my least favourites on the album :( She sounds a bit nasally when she says "I'm tired of hearing all your boy problems" which is a minor niggle essentially but annoys me a fair bit :lol:

Oh wow, okay. 'Boy Problems' is a fun song, but like you Liam, not really one of my favourites at all.

Agreed with Mattias, good track but did she really not consider anything else more worthy of a single release? :unsure:

Would prefer 'Making the Most of the Night'.

I'm pleased with a video for anything really, it's not in my top 5 of the album but it's not my least fave either and it's super fun.

 

Do agree with the post immediately above though.

I'm horrified about this, it's actually the one song on the album I really don't like. :arrr:

 

It's annoying as there's such good stuff on this album that may help establish her more credibility-wise, and this is as childish as they come. :(

Eeeeeeeeeeeeek. Boy Problems is literally one of the very few that I don't like.

 

But obviously it's just a matter of making a video now. Radio just do not care in the slightest, even if she released the most amazing song of all time.

 

I'd have personally gone with When I Needed You, Emotion, Warm Blood, All That, LA Hallucinations or I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance.

Warm Blood or IDJCHTD would have been suitable choices. She's doing an Ellie Goulding (which is to avoid all the gems of the album and choose the less shinier ones :/)

 

Looking back in that rate I only gave it a 7. That makes 6 tracks (As of my preference during the rate) that I would have preferred over Boy Problems.

'Warm Blood' / 'Let's Get Lost' would have been my choices.

I have to agree with this. If I had to criticise on any part of her music it would be the somewhat childish lyrics. Good thing lyrics rarely bother me.

Like others I'm pretty disappointed with this choice, but hopefully the video is enjoyable.

The former is one of my absolute favourites :heart: The latter is one that I thought of as a potential single choice too actually!

I do like 'Boy Problems' so no real issue there :D (y'know, other than the fact they're STILL not going for the amazing title track :\ )

 

I wanted Let's Get Lost, Emotion or L.A. Hallucinations. However I think Boy Problems, whilst one of my least favourites, is probably the most radio-friendly and commercial song left. Plus it was co-written by one of the biggest artists in the world right now. So if they're making one last ditch attempt at getting a hit single it's probably the right choice (although it's never going to happen, I know).
