'Killing In The Name' and 'Froot' were my rejected attempts so I was intrigued to see who got there first, not that I'm in any way surprised for the latter :P. Rather than go for something else 'Buzz(in)famous', I opted in the end to serve us all some lyrical ~home truths~ on this anniversary and stand up for the subjects of our keyboard wars lol. :funky:

Hype for the aforementioned as well as the timeless classiques from Cher, Shaggy, Spice Girls and Robyn x2 (and Jordin Sparks if hers counts). <333

I had no idea that anyone else tried it! You should've given us the chart battle all over again :heehee:

Just caught up with the rest of the thread. Surprised to see no Dena actually :heehee: s'pose if Toby had a BJSC country, we might've seen her in here, or alternatively it might've been a second Majela song :D

UV which one was the one you liked? I was briefly thinking of entering that weird remix with the echoing of "vagina"

This is the one I was also thinking of entering  It definitely sounds better to me as a track, but it's probably not as iconic as the one I sent. Probably still would've been allowed anywhoo since it's Majela.

Still waiting for the day Jonjo has a correct musical opinion.

I don't understand this sentence.

However you seem to be overlooking the fact that John GOT 99% OF HIS SALES from the fact his name was John NEWman, which is obviously clickbait in order to make people curious whether he is a new man or whether he is an old man.

B-)

when will the boting links/thread be released?

At 22:06 = #28

DES'REE HYPE!

(I am kinda aware that most people who partake in this contest probably joined after Des'ree was a 'thing' here but hopefully it raised a smile for anyone who does remember - which of course is pretty much the point of the entire contest)

I do hope it's a One Big Final just so The Saturdays have the opportunity to finish at their rightful position of #28 :)

[Michael predicting the song to enter the chart at #28 was a pretty big meme back in the day!!]

Updated 'WHY?' section for Joedonia below

Nick Jonas - Jealous

Why?

After Nick Jonas was beaten to #1 by Jess Glynne in her third week, some members of Buzzjack weren't happy, but there was one breakdown in particular who caused quite the stir...;

This episode had such a reaction and and has been quoted and referred to numerous times since, it even went on to win the 'Best Buzzjack moment of 2015'

^ if that's a SEMINAL MOMENT that sums up BJ then good help ha and all of us
I don't think that moment can really be questioned, it was pure brilliance! It practically became a BuzzJack version of a meme. Completely worthy of being one of the most remembered moments on this forum of last year, certainly in terms of the chart forum. Still amuses me. :')
