I agree with the general point you're making but I'd say both 'Can't Feel My Face' and 'Get Busy' are, respectively, much better than 'Earned It' and 'Gimme the Light'.

 

I think they're better too, but the point I was making is that they were 'safer' singles than what preceded them!

I can see this doing very well in the coming weeks, especially when the weather improves from next week when the clocks go forward.
