March 20, 201610 yr Looking increasingly likely that Nothing like This will make top 10 - I predict it to debut around 8.
March 20, 201610 yr Author How long was Sigala up for Pre-order? Seems like a long time. Though, I think #3 is most probable this weekend, with a slight possibility of climbing next week.
March 20, 201610 yr not surprising sigala are 'ahead by quite a way' today with their pre-orders and no streaming data~ nevertheless he should be on lock for a third successive top3 smash with 'say you do', which is a tremendous achievement for a dance act in the current climate~ :music: What's "current climate"? There have been several dance singles in top ten recently.
March 20, 201610 yr What's "current climate"? There have been several dance singles in top ten recently. It's a rarity for the same act to manage this feat. Most will get one mega hit & then never be seen again, Sigala is showing some solid consistency so far in each release.
March 20, 201610 yr I think "rarity" is a bit of a stretch as there have always been a dance act or two or three (Dj Fresh, Rudimental, Sigma, Major Lazer etc) who have managed to get several hits in year but ok.
March 20, 201610 yr Sigala's gonna need big sales if he wants #1 as his streaming is poor Isn't there a possibility it might significantly grow throughout the week? I know it remained a bit stagnant yesterday but I'm hoping.
March 20, 201610 yr Isn't there a possibility it might significantly grow throughout the week? I know it remained a bit stagnant yesterday but I'm hoping. It could grow in the week and I hope it does. I expected a big climb from it yesterday due to weekend effect Edited March 20, 201610 yr by Hadji
March 20, 201610 yr It's a rarity for the same act to manage this feat. Most will get one mega hit & then never be seen again, Sigala is showing some solid consistency so far in each release. PRECISELY, it certainly has become a rarity in the streaming age to see this level of consistency (well unless your name is justin bieber that is)~ I think "rarity" is a bit of a stretch as there have always been a dance act or two or three (Dj Fresh, Rudimental, Sigma, Major Lazer etc) who have managed to get several hits in year but ok. none of the acts you mention have managed 3 consecutive top 3 hits though  ~ the market has shifted somewhat in the last 12/18 months as streaming has exploded, while download sales have nosedived to 2008 levels, making it harder for anyone to string runs of top3/5/10 runs together~ per example: major lazer #2 lean on #54 powerful #7 light it up
March 20, 201610 yr Sigala have done incredibly well, I'd have just assumed they'd be another Secondcity or whatnot but they've continued to create a similar sound without being too samey and become more of a Sigma. And without big features either, I mean DJ Fresh is hardly gonna persuade people to buy it as much as a Paloma or an Ella for example.
March 20, 201610 yr Really hoping 'Say You Do' manages to get the #01 somehow. It'd make it the best #01 of the year so far for me .... although the only other #01 I've liked this year is 'PILLOW TALK'.
March 21, 201610 yr Really don't know why some people keep calling Sigala in plural form. He is a DJ. :P The best DJ in the world at the moment imo. There's a real possibility that he is number 1 this Friday. Well, I hope so. :cheer:
