How long was Sigala up for Pre-order? Seems like a long time. Though, I think #3 is most probable this weekend, with a slight possibility of climbing next week.

not surprising sigala are 'ahead by quite a way' today with their pre-orders and no streaming data~

 

nevertheless he should be on lock for a third successive top3 smash with 'say you do', which is a tremendous achievement for a dance act in the current climate~ :music:

It's a rarity for the same act to manage this feat. Most will get one mega hit & then never be seen again, Sigala is showing some solid consistency so far in each release.

It could grow in the week and I hope it does. I expected a big climb from it yesterday due to weekend effect

PRECISELY, it certainly has become a rarity in the streaming age to see this level of consistency (well unless your name is justin bieber that is)~

none of the acts you mention have managed 3 consecutive top 3 hits though :blink: ~ the market has shifted somewhat in the last 12/18 months as streaming has exploded, while download sales have nosedived to 2008 levels, making it harder for anyone to string runs of top3/5/10 runs together~

Sigala have done incredibly well, I'd have just assumed they'd be another Secondcity or whatnot but they've continued to create a similar sound without being too samey and become more of a Sigma. And without big features either, I mean DJ Fresh is hardly gonna persuade people to buy it as much as a Paloma or an Ella for example.

Really hoping 'Say You Do' manages to get the #01 somehow. It'd make it the best #01 of the year so far for me .... although the only other #01 I've liked this year is 'PILLOW TALK'.

With how many dance acts under pseudonyms there are that come out of nowhere, it can be hard to keep track of whether they're a group or one person, someone should make a Sporcle quiz for it :lol:
