Its probably one of the best marvel films of the year for me, I love all the graphics and the effects (Inception) element to it. I've always wanted to see Benedict in the marvel franchise in some form, he fits quite well in the Doctor Strange role. Rachel McAdams should have had a bigger role in it apart from that the film plodded along quite well. The build up at the start was a bit slow, probably my only nit-pick of the film.

 

Hopefully a sequel will follow at some point, but I do feel this could be a one-off project as the character Doctor Strange could revolve in other Marvel films like the two upcoming movies.

Very good film though, loved the characters and very cleverly put together in my opinion. I did think it was a little odd when

he was learning the 'spells' and then suddenly he could practise them perfectly.

The clip right at the end was a bit scary though :unsure:

 

One of my favourite moments was when

Wong was listening to Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and Doctor Strange was using the portals to steal books without him noticing

Well, the special effects were rather amazing, and there were some funny bits and Cumberbatch played the part well, but I think there could have been more to it plot wise :thinking:

This was excellent...lots of magic in it, almost like the plot of a fantasy video game.
