"To Pimp A Butterfly" also hit #1 before it got a physical release, though it did have streaming points as well.

To Pimp a Butterfly had physicals in store before the week was out, think Yeezus may have been the same but I can't remember for sure.

Yeah, PMB released the physicals towards the end of the week!
Oh stand corrected; it didn't have any physical sales over here in the first week but I'd forgotten that a year ago, the charts were compiled on a different timeframe!
Kanye's Yeezus?

Indeed it reached #1 on downloads alone

Are we sure about this? I know that it says so on wikipedia but that doesn't make it right.

It was not reported at the time it got to number 1 that it was downloads only and the Sales report when Dr Dre got to number 1 mentioned "Dr Dre makes chart history with his third - and, he says, final - solo album Compton becoming the first number one album in chart history NOT to be available physically".

Anyone know when Yeezus actually was released on CD?

I remember Yeezus getting #1 on downloads alone. Kanye pipped Kodaline to the post and the CD was released the day after he reached #1

'Yeezus' was not downloads only, it also had a physical release partway through its first week.

YES at 'Lemonade' selling another 17k yesterday. Should end up around 75/76k which is fantastic with less than 4 days of sales. Could have hit 100k given the full week.

How on earth did 'Hold Up' jump that much in front of 'Formation' when it has only just over-taken? Bit dumbfounded about how that is possible. I want at least 2 'Lemonade' songs in the play zone please.

Please note will probably won't have any mids on Monday due to Bank Holiday Monday, OCC tend to not to bother to post the Top 100 chart update like last time. Tuesday the latest next week.
really surprised at Hold Up being #20!!!! thought it was doing just a little bit better than Formation

It sold quite a load 12k in total just for yesterday  when compared to Formation at 7.5k, probably fall a bit tomorrow once the rest of the sales streams are factored in.

Anyhow, it be interesting to see the rest of the sales tomorrow for her tracks.

Seems like Tidal streaming has been added to the Bey tracks as there's now a solid percentage of streams in the totals!

I don't think all five Beyonce songs that are in the top 40 now will remain there tomorrow with the songs now falling on iTunes and missing streaming data to be added.

Fantastic sales for Lemonade. I hope she does a conventional release with her next album, though; imagine what this album's first week units could have been with a full tracking week and a widespread release.

surprised people use Tidal ;)
