While the country themselves said their entry took a bit of time to grow, for me this was so instant! Persephonia are great at bringing the swag to BJSC and stood out for miles with this track from the guy behind the production on 'Beyoncé'. This whole effort is so slick, from the confidently executed lyrics to that infectious instrumental portion. We're so glad this qualified and hope this can do well tonight! No swag racism please. B-) 15 Séyetana // FAUN & Santiano - Tanz Mit Mir A wild Séyetana appear in our medal position section! Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe this is a first! We've been a fan of tracks like 'JAY Z' and 'Sabotage' from this country but nothing has quite captured us like 'Tanz Mit Mir' has. So standout beyond belief that it's been the one song that has been stuck in my brain the most from this edition. Séyetana deliver on bringing quirkiness and fun with this German bop and frankly I just can't get enough. It was nail biting waiting for this to qualify but thankfully BJSC does have the fun factor when it wants to. Absolutely excellent! 18 Syndare // DJDS - In The Flames While Séyetana had never received a top 3 position for us before, Syndare go one better and have actually never received ANY points from us before! 'Drip Drop' came close but sadly they hadn't quite gripped me much since then. Until THIS came along! This is so up my street it's unreal. That bassline is just glorious and coupled with the loopy vocals it results in one magical creation. Its subtlety just works so well in captivating me. Just one of those tracks that comes along that I get hooked on first listen and just want it on repeat. Congrats Syndare, you get first time Jadakissnia points, and in style!
