Believe it or not that 7-1 score came up alot. Poor Ireland in major tournaments...

May 14, 20169 yr Lucky you :o Enjoy the experience. We'll be expecting regular reports :D 6 of us going (plus a couple of others for a week or so), driving and camping wherever possible. Been planning and saving for it since the beginning of 2013 now. Would've loved to go to a World Cup but Brazil too soon, Russia too big and not exactly an appealing place, and no desire at all to go to Qatar, so the next time it might be held somewhere we'd want to and could go to would be 2026, all of us nearing 40 probably have a lot more commitments making it not possible to sod off from England for a month or so. Had tickets to all England home matches in the last two years (didn't go to them all, only so many times England at Wembley on a midweek night has any appeal) and also done four of the aways (Scotland, Ireland, San Marino and Spain) and managed to have enough 'caps' to get tickets to all the matches, not even had to go for any of the expensive options, €55 each for the group matches, slightly over £600 for all 7 matches should we get that far, refunded if not. I can't wait now, it's come around quick though!
May 15, 20169 yr Sounds amazing Mark, I'm jealous. I know a guy that's in the England Supporters Group and he loves it, sounds like he has a right laugh. Certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity, and not too far to travel either. I was tempted to go to the Euros this year, but I'm going to wait until 2020 instead. Or chance my luck at least! Seeing the squad France have taken to the Euros, I'm not convinced at all. I can see why they're big favourites, but I will be well avoiding them in the betting.
