Farcical that the next World Cup is going to be held in Russia.

Especially after how some supporters of Russia have behaved who could face disqualification from the tournament if they are only more trouble.

Well done Hungary beating Austria who just didn't cope with the occasion and the pressure.

 

 

Didn't see the Austria game, but I just caught the final score from it, Hungary winning 2-0, didn't really expected them to win, I got nothing for that game predicta wise.

 

Portugal looks comfortable tonight, they should sail through, unless Iceland gives them a good game, I predict 2-0 to Portugal.

 

And on that Russia disqualification, doesn't bode well as a host nation for the World Cup :lol: -_-

It should be an comfortable win for Portugal. Full credit though to Iceland for making it to the Euros.

There hasn't been many goals scored yet in these opening games but I'm sure it will pick up soon!

 

Watching highlights of these matches sucks, it feels as if there was only one match that took place today (Belgium vs Italy). At least when you watch Match Of The Day for Premier League highlights it still feels almost like watching it live but watching the highlights now on ITV just feels like it's rushed and devoid of drama. At least when they get to the knockout stage the matches will take place at more convenient times for most people.

 

Saturday 25th June & Sunday 26th June in particular look like days of heavy football :D

And Glastonbury that weekend as well :D Not quite sure how awake I will be after being up all Thursday night for the referendum results.

Portugal aren't that great. If they didn't have Ronaldo, no-one would be fancying them to do well at all. They have too many off-days imo, but suppose with Ronaldo, there's always a chance.

Even saying that his best days have seldom come in the Portugal shirt. Great start to Group F if Iceland can hold on, the 2 underdogs causing upsets!

This match really fizzled out for me, I expected better from Portugal, at least I got 10 points from this match.

I think Iceland will get through you know, they'll beat Hungary I reckon!

So annoying, I've Portugal in my prediction league for money 2-1, and I backed Iceland to win (9-1 is way too tempting against an average side!). BUT delighted for Iceland regardless. Big point for them. The Portugal-Austria game is massive now, if either side loses that, they could be out.

Could be an possibility of Iceland and Hungary going through. Favourite moment of the Euros has to be tonight with Iceland drawing with Portugal. I'm so glad that they held on for a draw.

Iceland deserved the draw I think and even could have won the match with some of the good chances that they had. Portugal are and always have been quite overrated, their only really good teams were the Euro 2000 & 2004 teams. They couldn't even make it out of the group stage at the last World Cup and they wont go far in this either.

And may I add Ronaldo was incredibly average. If I had to choose between having Finbogason and Ronaldo in my team based on that game I know who I'd choose :lol: Oh, and that Renato Sanches bloke just stood there and didn't really do anything

The Russian manager must be on something his head keeps on tilting forwards and backwards, his medication needs changing :lol:

Romania vs Switzerland next. Switzerland will be in the round of 16 if they win this match, same goes for France in their match against Albania tonight.

Im glad Iceland got a point last night Ronaldo showing his lack of class with his petulant remarks afterwards!!

Cristiano Ronaldo spitting his dummy out by saying Iceland have an small mentality over them celebrating their draw with Portugal. You're the one with the small mentality in this tournament so far, Cristiano.
