Caught the tail end of Czech Republic vs Croatia. The Croatian fans are absolute idiots, they had the match won and they ruined it for their team. Croatia will regret those dropped points for sure.

They'll definitely be punishments given by UEFA on Croatia over the flares and fighting.

 

 

Croatia will probably get a suspended disqualification, similar to what Russia gets. It might be even worse as they have a history and the violence looked worse.

Spain have really played tonight and found the net where the Germans couldn't, but silly me I put 3-0 on my predictor and I went to change it to 2-0 before the game started :drama: :banghead: "note to self never change my predictions"

Spain played really well tonight but I have to say that Turkey made them look really good as well, Turkey were terrible and I can see them losing to Czech Republic in the final group game. They were the luckiest team in qualifying by being the "best third placed team" and would certainly not have qualified if the format of the tournament stayed at having 16 teams instead of 24.

 

Spain are not only in the round of 16 but they are now the bookmaker's favourites to win Euro 2016 after beating Turkey. I hope Spain don't win it otherwise it will become like Sevilla's domination of the Europa League winning it three times in a row.

Belgium seems to have finally found their mojo

Yeah Belgium look pretty good. Can't see them going too far though, I predict quarter finals for them as they are evidently not the finished package.

That's Ireland out them, highly doubt they'll beat Italy.

Belgium played well, but this Ireland team are average. Still think their defence is pretty suspect.

Belgium looked very promising during that match as contenders to win the tournament, kudos to anyone who predicted the final score to that match, only got 10pts from it, I predicted 2-0 to Belgium.

That was cruel for Iceland there. They deserved to win. Unfortunately some "fans" from Hungary were involved in clashes with the police before the match.

 

 

Hungary should have won that match, I don't think that penalty was a penalty in the end, if that makes any sense.
