July 3, 20169 yr Was so nervous for Germany watching this last night, so many times the shootout seemed like it would swing in the Italians' favour. So pleased they're through. I did feel like that was possibly a match for the tournament though - if France don't come through. And two different finalists to last time is always good.
July 3, 20169 yr Oh my word, just shows how much of an embarrassment England were in this competition. Poor brave Iceland :(
July 3, 20169 yr Iceland are getting mullered, another 4 in the second half please. Kudos to anyone that will have the correct score after full time.
July 3, 20169 yr Germany vs France looks a tasty prospect now! I agree, just hope Portugal do not get into the final, with one of Wales key player (Ramsey) missing the semi due to a suspension :(

July 3, 20169 yr Author Iceland can still be very proud of their achievement in this tournament. Despite the current scoreline against France. Just coming up against a team that is on form in this half. I really hope that this isn't a 7-0, 8-0 scoreline as that would be harsh on Iceland. An population of 323,000 people and they get a team of 23 to play in the Euros and reach the quarter-finals of the competition has to be considered a massive achievement.
July 3, 20169 yr Hazza  Its not over yet Unless Iceland can score 5 goals then it's definitely over.
July 3, 20169 yr Unless Iceland can score 5 goals then it's definitely over. They only need four as long as they are good at penalties
