I hope the Gareth Malone choir, Joe & Jake and Reggie N Bollie can do well this week.
Both Manic Street Preachers & Stone Roses in the iTunes chart, the 90s alt-rock comeback is coming *.*

Also a new single from Super Furry Animals, another 90s Indie fave!

This is another Welsh Euro 2016 Anthem as well as from the Manics. I can see the Stereophonics getting on board as well at this rate.

In fairness though Wales haven't qualified for a major tournament since 1958 and I don't think they even did football Anthems back then!

To paraphrase Baddiel and Skinner (who could yet get a re-release this summer) that's "58 Years Of Hurt" !

Not heard the RnB song yet but would love to see it cahrt higher than 9 just for badness
Liking the MKTO song too, wonder if that can do anything - I remember 'Classic' from a couple of years ago which was just as good.

omg are we set for another Gareth Malone choir #1??? Had no idea about this at all, where'd it come from?

haven't listened to it but I heavily doubt it would top the iconicness of 'Wake Me Up' featuring ACTUAL ALICE LEVINE FROM RADIO 1 :jameela: *.*

Wouldn't be that surprised if the Gareth Malone thing gets to #1 on iTunes at some point. They always seem to manage it somehow. Fairly confident it's not gonna be another official #1 for him... but then I thought we were safe from the NHS twats making me lose money Choir as well so you never know :drama: Maybe this might catch on in the same way and shift the 100k+ downloads necessary to beat Drake

Hopefully this one is updated with the times and ends with pleads to 'please, please, stream this record'

I was astonished to see Stone Roses at #1 on iTunes this morning - my first thought was 'which one of them had kicked the bucket? I had no idea they had re-formed, let alone were releasing new material! :o

I guess I should look beyond the sales figures to the music behind it, a bit more often...

Me too - I saw it at #1 on the Buzzjack homepage then went immediately to Digital Spy expecting a front page article about one of the members dying.

NEW ENTRY UPDATE (so much new music such a pre-streaming pre-oaos throwback omg)~~

10. Reggie 'N' Bollie - New Girl

26. Nathan Sykes - Give It Up (feat. G-Eazy)

33. David Guetta - This One's for You (feat. Zara Larsson) [Official Song UEFA EURO 2016™] (thought this would be top 10 by now)

39. OneRepublic - Wherever I Go

45. Catfish and the Bottlemen - Glasgow

To paraphrase Baddiel and Skinner (who could yet get a re-release this summer) that's "58 Years Of Hurt" !

Hopefully they've got a new version in the pipeline but I can see the original charting reasonably well, although it tends to chart in World Cup years more than Euro years.

Not always. The Children in Need single in 2014 managed it, but the chart has changed since. I think it might end up at something like #6 officially but it wouldn't surprise me if it was #1 on sales. It'd need to shift a lot - it probably didn't account for much but I wonder how much the NHS Choir were helped by the promotional push by Justin Bieber?

RNB's song is on the Littlewoods advert so I expect it to give it a massive boost
 106. Frans - If I Were Sorry

Coming for top 100 even before Eurovision happens? :o

:o Would love that to happen :D
