They don't want to win and nobody will vote for them anyway. if there were 2 Eurovisions, Western and Eastern Politics Bloc, then yes they would have a chance. Otherwise, withdraw. Take France too.

May 14, 201610 yr I feel like Eurovison really modernised tonight. I've always watched casually, but I much enjoyed this comapared to the past few years, it was entertaining, exciting and funny. The only letdown for me was the winner. I'm really pleased Bulgaria did so well though.

From the growing red lighting of the blood of the dead, the intense moment of quiet where she cradles an infant in her arms and then the tree sprouting from her as the symbol of life, rebirth and hope. So well done, so subtle and so beautiful. Not a winner for the masses but it's great to see something like that win. Plus, who doesn't love a fuck off Russia subtext!

I hope the Russian reactions will be something (short of causing diplomatic incidents) to witness. They poured absolutely EVERYTHING in trying to win and to then get beaten by Ukraine of all countries, I wouldn't like to think how their delegation is feeling right now.
