They just need to stop snubbing rock music. Walking On Cars - "Speeding Cars" never got an appearance. I know it isn't exactly a hit but you think they'd include it as it was included on one of their spin-offs (NOW Rock Ballads)

Why edit down songs if they're plenty of space for them to be left in full? The album version of Up & Up could have easily fitted.

Good tracklisting. Hotline Bling being on is a basically a massive compromise for the rather obvious omission...

 

The only snubs I would say were Zayn, Disturbed and OneRepublic

The rest either haven't granted permission (Adele/Beyonce), will make it onto Now 95 (Christine & The Queens/Olly Murs), or are too old (Rinse And Repeat should've been on Now 93).

Well "Company" did become a top 30 hit before it was announced as an official single. Also, the word "batty" was beeped out from Tinie Tempah's song "Mamacita" but not from "Not Letting Go" when that appeared on NOW 91 and several of their spin-offs. Strange. As for Drake, they should've put his non-album single "Summer 16" on here instead of "Hotline Bling" if they couldn't get "One Dance"

If that is how it appears on the back of the CD, that will be the first time an artist has featured after the "-" or as I would call it, the artist field. Surely it should be displayed exactly as it is on the single artwork, which is clear from the image below, Rihanna's credit does not appear at the end of the song title.

Just as untidy as when they suddenly started capitalising RITA ORA on the back of the CD in 2014.

 

It's becoming a real scruffy affair with the Now series these days.

I still don't get why gnash is even on Disc 2 at all, let alone leading it, when it could have been between Bieber and Calum Scott on Disc 1 with Clean Bandit moved across to open Disc 2. And I'd move Hotline Bling to the bottom of the disc, seeing as it's so old now.

Yeah the South African covers are kind of basic compared to the UK ones, they don't appear to employ a theme like we do which is nice, I assume it's only a matter of time before they run out of inspiration and start cut-and-pasting other countries NOW covers onto ours :heehee:

I think those covers make great use of color and design. The current UK covers are great too, but I wouldn't mind a similar design to the South African Now 72 & 73 for future releases.

The compilers must be just copying whatever the title on iTunes is for those film ones. Did the same happen with Pharrel's Happy?

I doubt the record companies would give the rights to that just yet. It wil probably be on Now 95 in November.

 

Not a great tracklist for this unfortunutly. I don't really class DNCE, Walk The Moon or Shawn Mendes as dance, there's a few others on there I wouldn't include on a dance album either unless they're there in remix form.
