May 26, 20169 yr What I like about this song is that it takes you on a bit of a journey. There is so many elements to it and it changes direction so many times. It's totally unique but you can still tell it's Clean Bandit. Compare it to the very predictable sounding collab Sigma put out last week to this, it's just incomparable.
May 26, 20169 yr Omg this is incred, the first bit is pretty much exactly what I'd want her to release to suit her voice and show if off and then the dancey bit when it gets going is pure hit potential :
May 26, 20169 yr It's alright, but I'm not really as into it as quite a few of you are it seems. I guess this isn't really the sound I want from Clean Bandit, Mozart's House seems miles away :( Rather great move from Syco on Louisa's part though, and on the contrary, I do think this is a sound she can do very well herself if she were to go in this direction.
May 26, 20169 yr Wasn't too sure on first listen but it grows and grows. The final chorus and build up to is really something . Can see this being huge. It's made me more excited for Louisa Johnson, I had little hope for her initially.
May 26, 20169 yr Sounds good on first listen ! She sounds a bit like a young Christina Aguilera but it's al good :) I feel the melody is nowhere near as memorable as a "Rather be" but I will need more listens.
May 26, 20169 yr This is incredible and Louisa sounds really good here! So glad Clean Bandit are back with such a really good first single for their new album.
May 26, 20169 yr Hmm it sounded a bit meh and slow but after the chorus it suggested a possible grower for me  Good comeback :D
May 27, 20169 yr Didn't know what to expect when listening to this but.. WOW. I had completely written her off but Syco must have saw what doing a dance track did for Ella Henderson. Absolutely love it, the chorus is SO melodic. I love her voice on the whole thing but on the chorus
May 27, 20169 yr Absolutely genius idea. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a ballad part II lined up!
May 27, 20169 yr This is quite wonderful. Has that 'replayability' factor which is essential for songs like this.
May 27, 20169 yr I can't get enough of this right now, such a great track. The middle 8 is my favourite part, Louisa sounds particularly incredible there
May 28, 20169 yr I was right with my earlier prediction, it just grows and grows with each listen as you get used to the structure of the song and all the intricacies within it. It feels like so much effort has gone into the song, not something that was churned out to get another quick hit - which people might think this is when they read that the latest X Factor winner is featured on it - and I think that will get it a lot of appreciation.
May 28, 20169 yr This is ODD. It feels like an old disco track that's been remixed and sped up. Haha, you don't remember summer 2004 to summer 2006, when loads of dance tracks sounded like sped up disco tracks, the Shapeshifters started it with Lolas Theme, and soon there was loads from other dance artists such as Freemasons and 100%/Jennifer John, Soul Central and Inaya Day and Dannii Minogue (Perfection) . I really liked that time, it was a real nu-disco wave and this new Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson track does sound a bit like this era. Edited May 28, 20169 yr by TheSnake
