Without any question the weirdest show I remember is Angela Anaconda.

 

I mean just look at that opening sequence:

 

Courage The Cowardly Dog was another weird CN one, but more creepy if anything!

 

This is a ridiculously late comment, but I also remember Angela Anaconda because for some crazy reason, they released a short Angela Anaconda/Digimon crossover alongside the Digimon movie.

 

Even as a kid I was bemused by that. Given Digimon was a fairly popular show and Angela Anaconda was... not.

 

In Ireland we had a Tweenies/Sesame Street like program called the Morbegs. The Morbegs were pretty creepy looking. Like the Honey Monster with long floppy dog ears and dead eyes.

This episode from Pingu creeped the shit out of me when I was about 5.

 

 

 

What the hell was this? This episode was banned in the UK.

It's defenitly Benjamin Ben, a scary ginger head doll who ate out of his nose and talked about christian stories.

The old wiggles. Something about a group of strangely dressed 40-ish year old men singing and dancing at young children always creeped me out.
