July 11, 20169 yr I can't believe I've actually read everything in this thread now. Took me literally hours to read through! :o It was interesting, awkward, informative, engaging, silly and fun all at the same time. Definitely a wonderful addition to my memories and experiences of BJSC ^_^ I know I'm not as invested in this contest as I was before, like in terms of posting and joining in on conversation and discussions, but I do appreciate this song contest, as it is the most important place for me to find new music. I also find it valuable that so many people care so much about this contest to partake in these discussions regarding how things should be done and what we want out of this contest. I mean, to such an extent. It's actually really great! Oh, and like others have said, the mods do not have an easy job in here, and I also truly appreciate their work and effort in all of this.

July 11, 20169 yr Could somebody point me towards the summer holiday rules again, where you can submit a ranking instead of a final vote, as I may need to request using that for this contest please. I can't remember the exact rules and can't find them, but I seem to remember it includes having to apply for permission. I won't be able to vote from Thursday 21st for nine days so will probably miss the entire final voting period, as semis are starting a lot later than I initially envisaged, which will push the final voting window back.

You rank all the songs in the final and the host (that's me) delivers your final 15 based on your top marks. It might be ok tbh, I'll be able to vote in the semis as normal and I might have time to vote in the final normally. I'm just applying for this as a precaution.
