I posted this in another thread but my anticipation for this has grown even more now she’s announced her pregnancy. Pregnancy really can make artists explode creatively (just look at Madonna’s Ray of Light / Music eras). I do wonder if her pregnancy has perhaps made her record more or if the direction of the albums changed. Regardless though whenever we get new music from her it will feel like such an event at this stage :heart:

Not a major update but some information regarding R9 B-)

 

I think this likely means no tour at present or the albums been delayed to a time when she can do more promo type stuff? Who knows :lol:

Only 2 of her albums had any real creativity to them (Rated R & Anti)... the rest were album after album cycle, so it's an odd thing for her to say.

Will this be the year we get that album from her?!

 

At the very least we have a Super Bowl show to look forward too but I really feel like new music (music what is related to an album campaign of hers! ) must be a stronger possibility at this stage of the year than any year since 2016… or am I being too optimistic :lol:

The Superbowl is a positive sign. Hopefully she announces something before then.

I'm expecting the album might be late 2023 or even in 2024. With mutliple single releases throughout 2023 - some of which may or may not make the album. Similar to the build up to Anti with the likes of "FourFiveSeconds"/"Bitch Better Have My Money"/"American Oxygen".

At this point she should just "surprise" release it, preferably around the time of the Superbowl performance.

I'm expecting a single or EP with the SB gig but nothing more.

I'd probably say a Greatest Hits is most likely.

I agree she could drop an album out of the blue and doesn’t need many pre album singles. I just feel like she’d need at least one.

It's only like Madonna with The Immaculate Collection and GHV2, you simply choose the signature hits and leave the lesser ones out.
