As much as it pains me to say, I'm significantly underwhelmed by this. I don't know I guess I was just expecting something a little less 'out of the box' so to speak, and overall a better hook... and structure (this is the worst factor of the song). What makes me feel even more let down is that it was a LADY GAGA written MARK RONSON and TAME frickin IMPALA produced song - it could've been so much more. :(

I know it's a bit early but I'm a bit worried for where this'll chart on Friday.

 

It's in absolute free fall on iTunes - could be out the top 10 come Tuesday. It's streaming isn't really great so far either. I'm glad it had a pretty amazing start on Friday as otherwise I think it'd be struggling for a top 30 placing :mellow:

We are now here for the artistry.

It's predicted to do about 100k first week in US. Which will place it between 14 - 18 first week I think. It'll probably perform similarly to Britney's Make Me, unless the video drops before the end of the week, which will help it, (unless it's as bad as Make Me's which I'm sure it won't be).

 

I'm sure she has some amazing performances lined up to stop the song from performing badly too.

Sad if true, no? Not funny. I thought with a left-of-centre release like this they wouldn't be expecting huge numbers, if they were it is a tad worrying.

They are on the fourth day of release and this is pretty much her first major release with streaming impact. What were they expecting after the mess that was ArtPop? :wacko:

Perfect Illusion is definitely a grower! I wasn't as instantly hooked on it like I was when I first heard 'Born This Way', but it's definitely a slow burner.

applause has grown on me so much

liked it anyway but it's now coming for bad romances crown
