July 27, 20169 yr Low sales for Major Lazer/bieber given the hype.. It will be close between them and Drake given the fact that some streaming data is missing.... Cold Water doing almost double than One Dance on Spotify lol
July 27, 20169 yr Low sales for Major Lazer/bieber given the hype.. It will be close between them and Drake given the fact that some streaming data is missing.... Low sales? They'll finish with around 90k
July 27, 20169 yr Low sales for Major Lazer/bieber given the hype.. It will be close between them and Drake given the fact that some streaming data is missing.... More than 20k does not qualify as close! Suspect it will be more than 30k difference by the end of the week as well.
July 27, 20169 yr Major Lazer will be roughly 25k ahead of Drake by the end of the week. Just seen his sales have gone up from last week
July 27, 20169 yr You can tell the gap has been increasing as the week went on, there is no way Drake is in contention for #1 this week.
July 27, 20169 yr If I was Drake I would buy 50 thousand copies of his own song to make a history. 16-18 weeks on op would be historical for decades Low price for eternal fame
July 27, 20169 yr Low sales for Major Lazer/bieber given the hype.. It will be close between them and Drake given the fact that some streaming data is missing.... Rather laughable statement tbh
July 27, 20169 yr Feels strange to see ELO likely to be #1 - a band from my 'era'.... :P Mine too. Great singles band but I've never heard any of their studio albums, only the singles from them.
July 27, 20169 yr once all the missing data is modelled/retrieved, it looks like major lazer will easily amass over 100k chart sales this week~ ^_^
July 27, 20169 yr Something I compiled #1s of the year so far Justin Bieber (Canadian) Shawn Mendez (Canadian) ZAYN (British) Lucas Graham (Danish) Mike Posner (American) Drake (Canadian) Major Lazer (American), Justin Bieber (Canadian) MO (Danish) The Canadians have been dominating the #1 spot for the past year  Only 1 British act has reached the top spot this year... just for a week though.
July 27, 20169 yr If I was Drake I would buy 50 thousand copies of his own song to make a history. 16-18 weeks on op would be historical for decades Low price for eternal fame I don't think he cares that much about the UK charts, he should've done that in the US but he already lost the battle this week to Sia's Cheap Thrills....
July 27, 20169 yr No it won't, Major Lazer are ahead on streams and the gap is massive. It won't be close at all. And their sales are pretty damn high for a brand new track which is OA/OS! :P Exactly and its streams won't be at their peak for a full 7 days until next week too

July 28, 20169 yr I hope you guys realize drake does not give a shit if this record is number one for the 16th week. All the moves to keep it number one has been done by Republic Records. This guy is breaking records every week and is on a sold out tour and tearing arenas up - just had one of the craziest shows last night in Chicago bringing out Kanye. If he cared that much, he would have released the video to maybe give it a chance at staying number one or he would have come over to London to do TV and Talk shows. I dont think he really cares at all - UK market is a small spec in what that boy is achieving globally. Anyway he has done 15 weeks - thats long enough - move on.
