This is very sad. Looks like this type of dance music in the charts will have to stay back in 2005 :(

I have fond memories of 2005 too, but the amount you bang on about it is ridiculous. Such a broken record.

I just tend to compare dance music to similar stuff from other years. I only mention 2005 because a lot of songs that sound like styles from the year are cropping up in the charts this year. If it was 2014 that I joined I would be mentioning the early 2000s a lot as big room house does to me sound a lot like early 2000s hard dance music.

Maybe I will ease off the comparisons with other years a bit, I do tend to use them a bit too much. :)

In all fairness its promotion hasn't started yet, so might climb back once airplay starts up.

I don't think this is the type of track that radio stations will play much unfortunately. Probably not 'relevant' enough sounding because of the similarities to last decades dance music that I mentioned. But I suppose Offaiah has been well liked by Radio 1 despite its 2006 style sound so it may happen.

 79. Tom Odell - Concrete :cheer:

758. Joel Adams - Please Don't Go

This is frustrating to watch now :')

 39. Imany – Don't Be So Shy [Filatov & Karas Remix]

Finally within the Top 40 for the first time!

Yes that's great. Most Precious Love vibes with the repeating bassline. Hopefully AirPlay will start soon. :)

The popularity of this in Europe shows that the pan-European obsession with tropical house may soon be over.

Anyway, anybody know what's out tomorrow of note other than Ellie?

Tomorrow the first solo single from a former "The Saturdays" member will be out. Mollie King is releasing "Back to you". It will be interesting to see how this one does. I expect it to have a good start on itunes with fanbase sales. The release is promoted on her own, as well as on the bands Facebook page - which has 1.5 millions fans.

I wonder if radio sations will playlist it upon release. Of course streaming will not be very high, so I think Top 40 on the official chart would be a big surprise.

Yes huge improvement on This Girl - an excellent disco house tune.

That Bob Marley remix - great funky house tune until they ruin it with the horrible pan pipe bit.
