This. Seeing the posts about it in the Chart Forum, I actually thought it was going to be something new for him but it really isn't. So fed up of his and Ed Sheeran's brands of 'pop'.

Lmao the way they've gone they're sounding like it's a post disco paradigm defining anthem and it's the same old shite :lol: It sounds like an Emeli Sande reject for her 2nd album yet because it's him it'll smash again.

That confirms it, it's going to be a whole album of the same old shit.

Definitely not a fan of the album title - In The Lonley Hour is one of the best album titles of recent years, imo.

The album cover is horrible. I feel bad for saying it because it literally is just his face but I just find it terrible.

 

Also, howling at Pray being literally like a combination of all his singles when it was being made out as the most unique thing ever. Has Sam made his own Buzzjack account?? 👀

I think he lose too much weight. That`s why his head now looks too big.

I just saw the cover for this and omg Sam you need to know when to get in a professional who will design something that isn't you.

The cover really is awful (and like Froot, I do feel a bit bad for saying this, given that it's literally his head/face 😬 ). Most head-only artwork is uninspired looking in fairness, but Sam's really taken it to a new level of boring... black and white picture on a white background.

 

Not that it affects me much, given I won't be buying it. :heehee: The thought of this artwork on a vinyl though... :drama:

UK tour dates finally announced! Only doing seven shows which I think is not enough, imo. I can imagine they'll announce a few more shows if these sell out, which I expect them to.

Just listened to "Burning" - wasn't he supposed to have had a change in sound? If you thought "Too Good At Goodbyes" was dull then "Burning" will redefine what dull means.

 

Essentially a song about smoking too much because of feeling sad and depressed, possibly hinting at smoking weed (I zoned out to be honest) - Sam is clearly SO cool :rolleyes:

 

I quite like "Pray" though - and a couple of the remixes of "Too Good At Goodbyes" are actually excellent - the DJ Mike D Mixshow Edit is the version I think they should've gone for as the main version, while the Laibert remix turns it into an absolute banger.
