You all will know this by now, but the Rih forum has held a selection thread for each album in order to get our entry for the AFSC! We're now down to eight songs, and the two two in this round will progress to our National Final.

Vote in the poll above, and be sure to discuss your choices! :D

'Fire Bomb'. But any one of 'Breaking Dishes', 'Kisses Don't Lie' or 'Skin' and I'll be happy!
I'm the only one so far voting for Breakin' Dishes? :o I was going to vote for Kisses Don't Lie since I thought BD would do well anyway so I'm shocked.
It has to be between 'Breakin' Dishes' and 'Fire Bomb' for me but I do slightly prefer the latter.

Voted for 'Fire Bomb' as I think that has the most potential to become a smash hit, this definitely should have followed 'Rude Boy' instead of 'Te Amo', and this could have easily been another smash hit, around top 5 or 10 in the UK at least, and would have done a better job of shifting more copies of 'Rated R and would have definitely ended the era on a much better note.

'Breakin' Dishes' would have been my 2nd choice, but that album already had a lot of hit singles and they were mostly chosen pretty well, apart from that awful Maroon 5 duet which pretty much tanked. But as it stands 'BD' is a fantastic album track on it's own.

As for my thoughts on the others well... 'Music Of The Sun' is a fine choice, but doubt it would have had much chart success. 'Kisses Don't Lie' has potential and would have been a far better choice than 'We Ride' and would have been a bigger chart hit in the UK and probably at least dent the USA charts, but if it did then it would have got forgotten amongst her future chart smashes. 'Skin' again that album already several chart smashes and all the right songs got released, so doubtfully this would have added to that and would have ended up being the smallest hit of the lot. 'Roc Me Out', well this could have been interesting, but the era was handled poorly with only 2 of the singles becoming smashes, this would have just got lost amongst the shuffle. 'Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary', Again another interesting choice and is my 3rd fave out of this lot, and this would have been better than 'Right Now' & 'What Now' neither of which were screaming hits, but again this era was handled poorly and Rihanna herself just lost interest after the first 2 singles. Finally 'Same Ol' Mistakes' is okay but much prefer 'Desperado' and anyway it's way too early to tell how many singles will be released from this era, but considering how poorly the previous singles did after 'Work', I really don't see much potential in this.

Putting up the final poll at 8pm so get any last minute votes in now!
