Also, it refuses to add 10 more rows so that I can add the last 10 songs in my chart, and the chart history thing shows the peak and weeks as the entire chart run, instead of until that point. And I really wish whoever is creating duplicates would stop, it just makes making charts more annoying, and you can check in all content whether the song you want is up. Apart for those issues, it's a great site!
October 1, 20168 yr Yeah I must admit, I don't like the "load more" feature :( otherwise it's all looking good to me, loving the fact it now shows peak and weeks on chart! :D (although mine is kinda inaccurate as not all of my charts are uploaded :lol: but oh well, that'll fix itself in time)

The only other issue I have is when creating a chart & entering a song I've no idea which version is the correct one. For example I type in Dive & about 5 possible options come up & the only way of knowing the one you want is to remember the IDs of each song which is a bit of a hassle.

I've been on vacation for the last week with limited internet access - did a lot of work on my local dev installation of the site, and you'll see updates roll out over the next couple days to add and adjust some things. Apart for those issues, it's a great site! Load More is going away - I'll be replacing it with an infinite scroll layout for now where ten songs at a time will load. That's not ideal, but in order to pull in the peak and weeks on chart, the page has to take a little more time to load each song, and if there are too many songs (25 was OK; 40+ wasn't), the page crashes instead of loading everything. I have some additional performance-related improvements I'm going to look into over the next week now that I'm on stable internet again, so hopefully I can get that back to not even needing infinite scroll and loading everything at once. I think I'm very close to getting that worked out, but hit a snag when I was working on it locally last night. Still working on showing the artist and album once you select a song; I have a way that sort of works, but isn't in the state I want it yet. That's priority #1 over the next week once I get these other updates in.
October 3, 20168 yr Author I think the easiest way to keep doing a chart is open up an old chart in edit mode and then comparing your song nid to what you've put in previously. It would be good if there was a way for the database to merge the songs that have the same artist and track title for more cohesiveness and ease of use though. Overall I'm enjoying using it. Actually have to add all my old charts still but I will do that soon!
October 10, 20168 yr Hi everyone! Just wanted to give an update that Crownnote has now officially launched and is out of beta. Thanks to those of you who joined early and helped fix some bugs! I'm certainly far from done making updates, though, so keep an eye on the site's blog for more updates soon, including improvements to manually adding songs. :)

October 16, 20168 yr Author I got half way through my chart yesterday and had to add a song. When I added it I went to put it in my chart but it didn't come up so I went to save it so I could Edit my chart again and add it in and in the end it came up with an error message and I lost the whole thing :lol:

Several of you asked about this, and it's now (finally - took all weekend! lol) improved! :D You'll see the name(s) of the artist(s) when trying to add songs to a chart or albums to a song. First Crown 100 coming tomorrow - either midday or later in the evening (Eastern time), depending on whether or not I can get it tabulated before bed tonight. lol Edited October 17, 20168 yr by Kurt

I have a way to merge those myself – it's too dangerous (lol, but really) to let everyone do it – so the way you can let me know there's a duplicate is by going to the song page of the duplicate and clicking on the flag icon. (I have a somewhat lengthy backlog of those that I plan to get to this weekend.) Whenever I enter a song whose title is a single world, it will not show the song up. Which is going to be a problem for quite a few songs in my personal chart this week. My plan this weekend is to fix that so you can type in artist names too – it makes the search a little slower, but will help fix that problem. For now, you can manually type in SONG TITLE (NID), e.g. "Gold (8327)."
October 31, 20168 yr Author It's great that you can now see all the song titles and artists but I would suggest collating all the tracks with the same artist and title to make it a little but simpler again.
