do you like your dance songs stripped back to their core elements? do you like the emotion given from just having a female vocal and piano (and occasional strings)?

here are some samples:

DJ Sammy (feat. Do) - Heaven

D.H.T. (feat. Edmee) - Listen To Your Heart)

Cascada - Everytime We Touch

Jessy - Dancing In The Dark

I only found out the slow version of 'Dancing..' existed recently, it's really lush  Out of the other three 'Heaven' is my favourite, the slow version makes me wanna cry it's so beautiful :snif:

'Everytime We Touch' is so beautiful. I also agree with 'Heaven'. Incredibly stunning.

I love Cascada's slow versions of 'Truly Madly Deeply' & 'What Hurts The Most' too! But the former is more a straight cover as opposed to being a candlelight mix. I'll still post it though <3

All of the above are pretty much my favourites, mainly Heaven and Listen To Your Heart where I listen to the Candlelight mixes as much as the dance versions.

The other one I love is the Candlelight version of Angel City's Sunrise, also by Yanou I believe.

The stripped back version of Don't You Worry Child is pretty spectacular too.

I think there's a Candlelight mix of September – Cry For You as well.

You would be correct!

Yeah Dancing In The Dark really is a true masterpiece (in either form), still to this day amazed it made the top 10 in a relative nadir of successful dance music!

Heaven is probably my favorite, I remember hearing it a lot on the radio since it was used as a tribute to 9-11.

I Could Be The One sounds very nice, I didn't even know until the past week that Noonie Bao is the vocalist. :o I'm liking the mix for Cry For You too!

I love a lot of Robyn's acoustic recordings, I'll go for With Every Heartbeat since the original is more dance but I also recommend

,
and
!
