Eurgh I thought covers were left in the early 00's (for the most part). Why the sudden influx of them? 'Fast Car', 'Dancing On My Own', the sampling of 'Is This Love', 'Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)' and now 'Would I Lie To You'...

I don't think covers ever went out of fashion, particularly in terms of dance music - last year we had Sam Feldt's Show Me Love and Felix Jaehn's Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better), plus Lost Frequencies' Are You With Me and Sigala's Easy Love which heavily relied on samples, to name just a few.

Scott Mills played a song sampling "return of the mack" with fetty wapp featuring on it. Bit of a banger tbh! :D

What's interesting about Sexual moving into the top 40 on sales is that nobody seems to be playing it at all (unless TV music channels are).

People need to give James Arthur a break, he is not homophobic, he was bezzies with RYLAN on the X Factor. Yeah, I know he made some stupid mistakes with his fuming and raging but that seems to have calmed down recently. Luckily the public are giving him a chance and if people like Chris Brown can survive after physically assaulting Rihanna (and other things) then surely JA can be forgiven for some silly things. I don't think what CB has done is right in anyway, just to be clear.

I don't think it has a music video yet (or even a lyric video? :unsure:) so it's def not getting TV airplay. I'm so, SO pleased at it making amazing progress though. I think it could be pretty big! One of my fave songs of the year. :wub:
