The songs sound similar but it's 2016, a lot of pop sounds similar. If there was a lawsuit for every pop song that sounded remotely like another, the legal system would never see the end of it! I think it's pathetic and petty that people keep bringing it up, especially the random one in GRL now who wasn't even in Ugly Heart

Little Mix should go #1 officially next week. I don't think we have to worry about it getting blocked with this kind of lead.

Would love to say I agree, but we don't know how fast it's likely to fall yet. Hopefully nowhere near the speed as most other fanbase type acts though!

Anybody looking for the next US rap hit keep an eye on this. Doing well on Spotify in America and becoming quite the sleeper hit there. Catchy with a strong beat.

I think if they didn't launch it on the X Factor then it would fall dramatically. However, it seems like casual listeners are buying the song too so I doubt that they will fall that much.

The sales would have been more spread out, but I think it would have sold the similarly either way. I thought Sunday was risky, but I underestimated how popular they were. They're basically Bieber levels of popular in the UK now.

I wonder if Little Mix could pull debuting at #1 this week off seeing it have a 70% lead on iTunes and now #4 on Spotify seen its #1 on amazon downloads too, I think it could be close, Good on them loving the song.

Thinking #1 is VERY possible for LM now.

Little Mix are looking to be the first XF winners to achieve 4 #1's. I think in terms of XF contestants, Olly is in the lead with 4 atm.

EDIT: Oh wait I forgot JLS and 1D. Okay maybe scratch the last bit.

If I'm not mistaken I think they have 5 and 4 #1s respectively. Do The X Factor Finalists singles count as #1's for these bands too?

Wishing On a Star will count for both because they got an individual feature credit, but the 2008 and 2010 respective winning singles won't count because they're just listed as part of "The X Factor Finalists". So JLS have a total of 6 and 1D have 5!

Thanks!

I can't see Little Mix getting over the line this week - surely their downloads will ease off a bit now rather than continue at the same rate.
